BUDGET: Display $xxx more needed this week - for weekly goals.
This one can be a bit tricky. Depends if the math is used to track monthly (weekly * 4, weekly * 5 on 5 pay months) then what is remaining to fund this week may not be the weekly goal. If all we are concerned about is the weekly goal then it is straight forward.
With the new views now available I have a view for my wife's paychecks (paid weekly) and my paychecks (paid every 2 weeks). I've set all the weekly goal categories (groceries, fuel, dining out, etc) as actual weekly goals but the budget still shows "more needed this month". So now I need to figure out which week we're in, how much has already been allocated/spent, how much I should allocate to meet this week's goal. In my perfect world these would be categories that I just need to "top off" each week. I do not have a strict monthly goal. Rather, I'd like a small pool of money to spend from and then top off the next paycheck.
This feels like it should be a feature request for the actual YNAB site/app, not the role of an extension.
