amidst error

hello.

Whenever I am trying to open amidst with minecraft version 1.17.1 I am getting an error message and am unable to open the program beyond the version selection screen. here is the information provided regarding the error, what caused it, the OS, etc.

• OS: WIndows 10 Home edition
• java version: version 8 update 301 (build 1.8.0_301-b09)
• MC version: 1.17.1, 1.17.1 optifine
• amidst version: v4.7
• error message:
• what did I do/ what to do to get the error again: I only wanted to boot up the 1.17.1 game version with Amidst and only that caused the error already.
• what I expected: I expected the program to boot up as normally like all other versions
• what I happened: the program gave me the error.

I had this same problem when trying to load the 1.17.1 profile when using the .exe version of Amidst. However, I downloaded the .jar version and it loaded the 1.17.1 profile without issue.

Im getting the same issue with the 21w40a version, even with the .jar version
