java version incompatible?!

Hey there, I tried to open a 1.17 profile with the letest version of amidst, but I got this fail report. My java is up to date. image

Read through the comments on #999 and you will find a temporary solution until a new build can be released.

It is because 1.17 requires java 16, and this program only supports java 8

I have the same problem but no one seems to have any kind of solution for mac.

This issue can be resolved by installing the JDK package for Java 16: https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/javase-jdk16-downloads.html
