I am thinking the filter should be on by default and set to 12 months or so. I realize this is an edge case but I also know a lot of mods are using historbutton in an increadibly dump simplistic way of only look at the numbers.

The second feature would show how many of the comments made by the user are under their own posts. This would give some better insight in how much the person is contributing. If we want to be really fancy we actually do a bit of regex on each comment to look for urls and include those in the domain counter as well.
