VS Code Pets reset every time I open VS Code

Describe the bug Every pet that I've added will disappear after I close my workplace (the whole VS Code itself), and when I come back to use the app and open the VS Code pets bar, it resets to the default pets (starts with a brown cat). This bug only happens when I haven't opened VS Code for days.

Screenshots This is my pets (I spawned them again after it resets to a brown cat only, which is quite irritating bcs I had to do it every single time for these past months)

This issue is stale because it has been open 100 days with no activity. Remove stale label or comment or this will be closed in 30 days.
