Can't change pet color, or add new pets

Describe the bug Can't change pet color from default brown. Add new pet buttons/ commands not working.

I cannot replicate, are you using both the latest version of visual studio code and the latest version of the extension?

Had the same happen to me, after removing the existing (starting) pet the "add pet" button worked again and so did the color choices.
