Fira Code installed font is different

I install the Fira Code like everyone, selecting all the files and installing it in all the users of my windows pc, then in vsc select "Fira Code" as source but it does not look like it should be, here is a screenshot of how it looks and the configuration.

This is not Fira Code, this is some fallback font. Check your installation or maybe reboot

I install the fonts 3 times, and i reset my pc a few days ago and it still has the same problem since 10 days ago

like everyone, with google and then i try with github, get the files and then click in "install"

If you go to C:\Windows\Fonts is Fira Code there? Is Fira Code visible in any other programs?

• select the font files
• right-click on the those selected font files
• then select "Install for All Users"

That will install the fonts in C:/Windows/Fonts/

If the font is showing correctly in other applications and not primarily in VSCode, then it is possible that your setting JSON file of VSCode is corrupted!

If the Fira code is already in the C:/Windows/Fonts directory then you don't need to uninstall anything
