The © (copyright) symbol elevated
In the screenshot image above, Fira Code displays the © (copyright) symbol elevated relative to the surrounding text. Is this by design?

Yes. This comes directly from Fira Mono, I didn’t altered it.
Are there any plans to add those symbols as well? 🤔

They're in Fira Code. Fira Code is an extension of Fira Mono - it includes all the characters from it.
What I ment to ask is whether those symbols will get fine-tuned. The © (copyright) symbol should not be elevated, it should be vertically centered, like the ÷ (division) symbol is. That kind of thing.
After a hopeless amount of searching, most seem to recommend the ©, 🄯 (copyleft), 🆭 (mask work, newish character so a circled M
if you can't see it) and ℗ (sound recording copyright) symbols sit on the baseline (not superscript as it is now).
They should be as tall as the cap-height or x-height when preceding text (© Wopian / © wopian) or on their own - perhaps a ligature for lowercase to use x-height?
Before a year (© 2021) they should match the height of the 1
character, also matching the oldstyle 1
height when oldstyle figures are enabled.
The trademark symbols (®, ™ and ℠) are fine as they are.
Edit: "Copyright ©" is also redundant—you need either the word or the symbol, not both.

Yes, I might fine-tune them, thanks for bringing this up

I agree. They look fine.
But other symbols would really look better if they are fine-tuned. I hope they'll make it into the next release.
I would like to upvote this issue.
Was this fixed? Should it be like this?
@TheRealH0u, it shouldn’t be like this, that’s why I opened this issue. I guess no one listens here.
To be honest, I don’t care if this gets fixed at all, since I’m now using the Input font, anyway.
