MSSQL Support

Hi Toni, Could you explain the "high level" process to include MSSQL support (or others) in Alfresco BART? We are interested to collaborate with you to include this enhacement.

Hi Javi, no plans to include MSSQL at this time since Bart only works in Linux. Do you think it worth it to include it in for linux?

Hi @douglascrp .. I need to check if we applied it to a customer but, in ensence :

  • You will need mssql-cli on linux -> https://docs.microsoft.com/es-es/sql/tools/mssql-cli?view=sql-server-ver15
  • You will need to share the folder where the DB is stored in MSSQL Server, to be accesible from BART script. Disclaimer : I don't remember if incremental backups are working correctly with this strategy.
