Nest Presence would show Away, then immediately after show Home, even though presence is truly away.
Verify the following before opening an issue:
- [Yes] You followed the Nest Developer documentation here? Nest Developer Account Creation
- [Yes] That OAuth is Enabled for the SmartApp under the IDE.
- [Yes] The SmartApps and ALL (5) Devices Handlers are using the latest code available.
- [Yes] You have reviewed the NST Manager Wiki for potential fixes.
- [Yes] That ALL SmartApps and Device Handlers have been Published for You in the IDE.
About Your Setup:
- How many Thermostats?: 2
- How many Protects?
- How many Cameras?
- Using the Nest Presence Device? Yes
- Using the Nest Weather Device?
- iOS or Android?: iOS
- Mobile App Version: Nest: 5.17.2 // NST 5.3.2
Expected Behavior
When Away, Presence stays away
Current Behavior
Presence shows Away and then immediately after shows Home, then occasionally switches back to Away again - all 1 minute from eachother if not the same minute.
Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)
Context
Please include a copy of your log under the IDE if possible
Just thought I'd report this was happening to me. Both Home/Away assist was turned off on both thermostats. Wasn't happening to me until just recently. I noticed NEST app was recently updated.
Anyways I went in and on the master parent account (so not just in the devices but the account itself) turned off Home/Away - so hopefully that will address the issue.
