Unable to view video with my Nest Cam

Verify the following before opening an issue:

  • [x] That OAuth is Enabled for the SmartApp under the IDE.
  • [x] The SmartApp and Device are using the latest version.
  • [x] You have reviewed the Readme for potential fixes.
  • [x] That the Device Types have been Published for You.

About Your Setup:

  • How many Thermostats?:
  • How many Protects?
  • Are you Using the Nest Presence Device?
  • iOS or Android?: Andriod
  • Mobile App Version:

Expected Behavior

I can not view video even though i am public sharing

***EDIT: Nevermind... found my issue.

Having the same issue with the Nest Cam IQ

Steps to reproduce:

  1. My Home > Things > Nest Camera
  2. Snaptshot works, on/off streaming and status works
  3. Try to play stream and: Camera Unavailable

No other users or sessions viewing, using Camera + Image permissions

Stream had to be made public on the Nest side.

Are password enabled streams possible, as documented here: https://nest.com/support/article/How-do-I-make-my-Nest-Cam-video-public-or-private

Would this make a good feature request? Probably a good middle ground rather than pure public cameras.

If video i public, i dont have to actually share the link? Videos are public for the cameras on nest side, still says public sharing not enabled. Everything else worked smoothly. I sent a donation ! please help
