Error on Fresh Install after entering FordPass login info and hitting the "Region:" field: "Can't find variable: typeDesc..."

First, my login pop-up looks different than the installation guide:

It's when I enter my login info and then hit the "Region" field to set the region that setup fails with the following error:

Errors Logged
(Required Prefs Menu) Error:
ReferenceError: Can't find variable:
typeDesc
prepWidget () Error: ReferenceError:
Can't find variable: typeDesc

I also get this error. 2022.07.25 does not fix this issue.

If I ignore the regions and leave it as NA, I later get a JSON error and can never launch the widget.

Same issue. Manually editing the Widget to change "NA" to "Europe" or "EU" doesn't work either
