@Miss-Egg Confirmed. This is a duplicate of https://github.com/jasp-stats/jasp-issues/issues/1455 I closed that old one. @vandenman So this is a really old bug. Can it be adressed for jasp 0.19? Relevant remarks...
@ertugruluyar-github @JeffS1984 just a status update. This is still valid with current 0.19 beta. It will not be forgotten.
@JeffS1984 Can you alter the title of this issue to reflect that it is now a feature request to support > 1000 columns? Thx
This issue is tracked via an internal issue here: https://github.com/jasp-stats/INTERNAL-jasp/issues/2421 It may be completed for version 0.20 or later. I will mark this issue as duplicate but keep it open...
This should be fixed with https://github.com/jasp-stats/jasp-desktop/pull/5636 It will be hopefully released in some weeks with version 0.19.1 at least 16k columns should load fine then
Someone should probably be assigned to this, since this is also relevant in social sciences :) Example from https://orda.shef.ac.uk/articles/figure/European_map_of_Implicit_Racial_Bias/4750588?file=7790077
Yeah this will surely be a big ticket. I worked with a postgres DB, PostGIS and QGIS during my PhD. But since that was 10 years ago, I asked Copilot...
Yes, using qgisprocess in JASP sounds about right. But one has to install QGIS before, or we have to prompt the user to install it from https://flathub.org/apps/org.qgis.qgis
Interesting. I teach ANOVA since >10 years and never thought about this one. Can you explain why the non-split information about the Dependent Variable is relevant in the ANOVA context?...
I have contacted the QGIS people via: https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/issues/56342 Maybe they have more ideas on this.
