I would prefer this as two issues/additions: treat copy and rename separately. I really would need the rename operation first :) -- and sooner rather than later

The seperation allows for more complex setups, where e.g. the command is fixed, but the args are dynamicly determined by a function (or vice-versa). So the most user friendly approach...
