I think I have some idea of what’s going on here. Most likely I’m sending the whole text including the @ to the translate server and it can’t work out what to use for it.

Will see if I can strip out the @ s and just send the actual message and then readd the @ s

Just pushed an update that should fix the detection by stripping mentions, sending that and then readding them back in. You can trigger an update in tamper/greasemonkey to get it now else you should get update automatically in a bit. Let me know how it is and I'll investigate more or close.
