Project fails to deploy - SQL Server version?
Hello, I downloaded your template and tried to deploy but it did not work. My suspicion is because I am using SQL Server 2017, Entity Framework has issues. I haven't looked into it in too much depth but do you have an inkling? My friend has got this running in SQL 2012.
Hello, it is unrelated. The reason it failed was because three of the projects are set to .Net Framework 4.6.1 and one is set to 4.6.2. I made them all the same and it works fine thanks.
Hey Zak, well spotted. I have synchronised all of the projects to 4.6.2. Did this solve your deployment problem? Where were you attempting to deploy too out of interest?
Hi Tom, yes. It worked fine thanks. Btw, I know Sohail very well. Might be worth having a discussion with him regarding his changes.
Best,
Zak
