dark tranparent does not work

When in settings set a dark grey/black, not or partly transparant, background, the preview shows it properly, in reality it is displayed in white. see screenshot. Preview: Screenshot_2022-07-03-09-06-32-65_d742de5e3a1df66c6697175251ab44b2

With other colors it works, white also remains white. this happens in both standard and dark mode.
