please give guidance on replacement wav file length

Open lszyrmer opened this issue 13 years ago • 5 comments

As I changed the wav file, I think it takes longer, as I think the code presumes the wav is of a certain length of time, and I can't seem to find the original wav file.

The Wave files for tomighty are located in tomighty-swing/src/main/sounds

I am not sure if it is possible to change the sound files at the moment. Perhaps @ccidral can give a better adive here.

You can change the sounds on the options window. Sound files of any length should work because the code does not presume a length for any of the sounds. What does it happen when you change a sound?

After replacing the tick sound, I had the impression that the break lasted much longer than 5 mins, and I guessed that it was because the code assumed the sounds were of a certain length. I'll take a look based on the location above.

I would like to try what you did. Would you send me your tick sound file? I will replace the tick sound too and see what happens.

I'd be happy to send it but I don't see an email address on your github profile, and I can't reply directly to the email notification from github. Please advise.
