Not surprisingly, JASP provides an analysis that will do these calculations for you. From the main ‘Analyses’ toolbar select ‘Frequencies’ - ‘Multinomial Test’. Then in the analysis window that appears move the variable you want to analyse (choice_1 across into the ‘Factor’ box.
