btw, the `_ASSERT(g_uNumVoices == 0)` is asserting as there's no WM_DESTROY msg, so these functions aren't being called: - SpkrDestroy() - MB_Destroy()

FYI, I tried on Win10-64, debug-build built with VS2019, and could repro after a few 50Hz-toggle restarts. I couldn't repro the the release-build.
