Option to only do a long-break if 4 pomos were clustered

Last night, I did a few pomos after midnight. Ideally those would be counted as the day before, but either way, it felt weird this morning when I did 2 pomos and it gave me a longer break. I'd like an option so that if I'm starting new pomos after say >2h of in-between time, it asks me if I'd like to start a new cluster or something like that, and then it'll put those 4 together.

I would love for this to be incorporated. I have semi-frequent interruptions, conference calls, meetings, etc. that break up my day, so I'm not always able to get 4 pomodoros in a row. Let's say I complete 3 pomodoros before I head out to a meeting. Currently, when I get back an hour later and start again, I'll complete one pomodoro and be presented with a long break. Ideally I'd be a 4-pomodoro set all over again, rather than just picking up in the middle of a set where I left off.

Whether automatic as suggested here, or a "reset sets" button, or something along those lines would be great.

I thought that, since a pause is automatically started by saving a completed tomato, the easiest way to achieve this goal would be to have two ways to start a new tomato timer:

  1. start (default), it will use current counter value
  2. start new set, it will reset the tomatoes counter to 0

I really like keyboard shortcuts, so the start new set action could have be triggered by the shift+space combination.

What do you think about this?

That sounds just about right.
