Visual Studio 2017 version 15.9.5 freezes when opening files or comparing code on TFS

For example, this are the steps to reproduce:

• search someting in solution and results are shown in FindResults window
• in FindResults window there are say 50 hits
• when clicking on item in FindResults window sometimes Visual Studio freezes when opening a file

Studio also freezes sometimes, when comparing changed code with latest version from FTS repository.

After disabling this plugin, the problem seems to disappear.

I have the same issue. When opening a file my VS freezes for ~5 seconds. Visual studio even disabled the extension as it was causing so many freezes.

@Roozi489 I've never been able to reproduce this. Would you be willing to capture a PerfView trace of the error happening on your machine for me to take a look?
