How to change scan interval from every 3 to every 120 seconds?

Hi,

using this driver, i have the problem that the wi-fi connection is paused every 3 seconds, while the driver re-scans all available networks.

How can I change this interval to something more sensible like every one or two minutes?

I think NetworkManager is in charge of that, or whatever equivalent daemon you use.
