Popup to select proxy not showing up

Open gersonjferreira opened this issue 1 year ago • 10 comments

I've notice a bug here. I have three proxies on my list, and when I click the extension I would expect the popup window showing the three options for me to choose.

At first it shows up the popup properly, but after some use, it stops showing it and always calls the first proxy on the list.

To fix it, I have to remove one proxy from the list and add it back.

That's really strange! I'll try to reproduce soon. Just to double-check, this is Chrome, correct?

Yes. Chrome on Manjaro and Gnome 46.

Just to double check, how many proxies do you have selected? Also, once this happens, does it keep happening until you change settings too?

I have two proxies, Stanford University and the University of Kentucky.

Once it starts happening, it doesn't stop.

Deleting the proxies from the settings and re-adding them doesn't actually fix the issue. I need to completely remove the extension and then reinstall.

Ooof, that's not good. Ok, will try to take a look at this this weekend. Thanks for the report!

I have also experienced this for a long while. To be honest, I can't recall when it worked as expected.

Also, happy to assist in fixing the issue. But I know too little about the browser plugin architecture to contribute with coding.
