Items go missing after restart using create vaults

We have a bank of 15 full size vaults stacked 3 wide and connected via 1 storage connector, we have been filling this storage system wirelessly, We have just placed 6.4k blocks into the storage system wirelessly and they appear in the system. We then restart the server and the 6.4k blocks are no longer there...

if we put them in manually via a chest/chutes they appear to stay in the system after a restart.

No I didn't solve the issue unfortunately, I tried multiple things including half size vaults etc but in the end changing to normal Minecraft chests fixed the issue on our server.

I went back a version from 1.6.6 to 1.6.5, this solved the problem for me.
