macOS Sonoma 14.2 build failure

Might just be b2's outdated SDL submodule needing an upgrade. That's an easy thing to try.

Should also probably upgrade the CI system to use newer macOS, since that might make it easier to get an ARM build done. Possibly even a multi-architecture application!

(The CI system doesn't build with Xcode, so if this is some Xcode-specific behaviour, then that might not help.)
