Can't properly bind key combos with the Super key to Open Emoji Picker

I can't bind Super-. at all in the settings, it shows up only as "Super L" instead and doesn't open the picker.

Another issue is that I can seemingly bind Super-, but it doesn't seem to actually open the picker when pressing the shortcut.

Other keybinds like Ctrl-. work fine for binding and opening the window.

Fedora Workstation 39, just installed and updated. Using Gnome but with Xorg (for reasons...). Finnish keyboard layout if that matters.
