Random comic widget isn't displayed

Similar to #278, except the most recent comic widget is working fine, only the random widget isn't working. Has been happening for a while now. I also tried enabling offline mode, but that didn't help.

Easy xkcd 8.1, Nova launcher 7.0.57, Android 12. Happened on both Nokia 8.3 5G and Samsung Galaxy S22. Also seems to happen on the One UI launcher.

I have the same issue. easy xkcd 8.1.1, Lawnchair 2.0-2589, Pixel 6, Android 12. On the stock Pixel launcher, neither widget actually works, but on Lawnchair it's the same as OP where only the most recent comic works.
