Replication slot not 'active'

Open smokedsalmonbagel opened this issue 3 years ago • 3 comments

PGSync version: 1.1.33 Postgres version: 10.11 Elasticsearch version: 7.1 Redis version:

Python version: 3.7 Problem Description: PGSync's replication slot is not active: image Can this be fixed or is this just how pgsync works? We run a replication slot monitor which is triggered when a non active replication slot is found.

It looks like this active field is is used internally by Postgres for replication I don't see how to modify it in the docs. Moreover, pg_replication_slots is a materialised view so you can't update it anyway.

Ok - I will do some digging. We will probably have to find a work around.

smokedsalmonbagel, I have the same exact problem, did you find a solution in the meantime? If yes what was it?
