not working on x99 no sound

ALC1150 is not working Moterboard:GA-X99-UD4 System can detected audio device but no sound.

Hi, I have the same issue, audio detected but digital out does not work.

As i have a 5960x w/ Rampage V, I am using the alternative IOPCIFamily.kext, is this related to the link failed section on the screenshot?

X99 audio is not supported in OS X. Two fixes required: 1. Hi Def device-id; see config-audio_cloverALC-x99.plist (in Repo),/KernelAndKextPatches/KextsToPatch/x99 ALC Onboard Audio. 2. dsdt fix; see config-audio_cloverALC-x99.plist/ACPI/DSDT/Fixes/ALZA to HDEF. All other messages are non audio kext problems; suggest resolving before attempting audio.

Hi Toleda,

Thanks for the reply, I have tried from a fresh install of OSX, also but no joy.

The only kexts I had to replace for 5960x were AppleACPIPlatform & IOPCIfamily and I patched the kernel (as per stinga11). I can only assume it is this that is causing the problem.
