Merging with redis-rs

I want to know what can be done to avoid having two redis libraries in Rust. There is an open issue for futures support in redis-rs (https://github.com/mitsuhiko/redis-rs/issues/103) so I would be happy to provide whatever help I can do to make this crate obsolete and redis-rs work with Tokio out of the box.
