Option for creating publication-quality plots from GUI

Currently when saving a plot from the GUI, the current state of the plot canvas is saved. This is normally the right thing to do, but for publications it is often better to re-draw the plot with a certain size. There is currently no way to do this from the GUI, so adding an "export plot" type of option would be good.
