Browser Extension + Mac App Interaction

🐛 Describe the bug

When Mac app is in Manual Mode, browser extension's interaction with Google Calendar integration operates strangely. See "Steps to Reproduce" for a more fully fleshed-out process.

Expected behaviour

Popup should not auto-close.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open Mac app and switch mode to Manual Mode
2. Head back into Google Calendar
3. Click "Start Timer" within a calendar event
4. When edit popup appears, attempt to click "Select Project" Action: popup disappears
