Load More button not showing up

Open nidarasheed opened this issue 4 years ago • 10 comments

💻 Environment

Platform: macOS OS Version: MacOS Mojave Version 10.14.6. Toggl Version: 7.4.484

🐞 Actual behavior

The Load More button isn't showing at the bottom of the desktop app. The user scrolls down to the bottom, and there is no way to load more entries. She does have more entries in the system, and the app is only showing her about 32 entries at the moment, so it's not like a lot of data is already being displayed.

💯 Expected behavior

A Load More button should display at the bottom of the desktop app.

🔨 Steps to reproduce

Looks like it's a library issue, I've reproduced it on Windows. If the user simply presses Sync the "Load More" button is not visible while the data is only displayed up to ~9 days or so. #2230 looks like the same issue.

The workaround I've found is to log out and log back in.

For what it's worth, I'm on macOS 10.15.6 running Toggl 7.5.213 and do not experience this issue. @nidarasheed this issue fixed without being closed?

Hi, @austintraver. I'm not sure if every user is affected by it :)

@skel35 Your mention of a logout-login above fixes the issue permanently, or is rather a temporary workaround?

It is a temporary workaround, the issue can come back if one is triggering manual sync.

skel35 avatar Apr 02 '21 14:04 skel35

Thanks for that, Taras; is this something the team would look into fixing in the future?

This case actually contains a screencap of the issue occurring, for reference
