Create nice app icon
I'm gonna go with "Red Eye" for the app name.
Any chance you can design me a nice eye icon for the app? It needs to be 1024x1024 pixels.
The basic eye icon used in the menu bar I'm okay with, but I'd love an eye icon (either from scratch or based on the existing, simple eye icon from Font Awesome) with maybe some red veins in it?
I wonder if the owl might actually be a more interesting idea—we could have its eyes light up red, and it also has the night/nocturnal connotation. I can make you a literal red-eye, I just wonder if something a bit less obvious might be more interesting...
While that's cute, the eyes would only be a few pixels and wouldn't provide very much on/off state contrast.
Yosemite menu-bar items are also greyscale, as it has dark-mode (which inverts colours), so basically: no colour.
(I'm still cool with an owl, but colour isn't an option for the menubar item, at least in Yosemite.)
