Mail checks not happening regularly sometimes

A customer has reported that mail checking is not happening regularly.

Things to check:

• Is there a bug / improper use in the app's handling of node-imap events?
• If no, are there updates to node-imap addressing this issue?
• Alternatively, can we offer option to "check ever N seconds" instead of relying on the "update" event? Maybe just doing a timer on the imapSearcher.searchMail() ?
