[Shaman Talent] Ancestral Awakening

Open ololroflbbq opened this issue 13 years ago • 2 comments

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1 Play a Shaman 2 Spec into "Ancestral Awakening" 3 Critically Heal, to get Ancestral Awakening to Proc (Best used in a Raid situation, to get the impact of this bug!)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? It is supposed to apply the heal to the lowest party or raid member just AFTER the original heal goes through. This follows the "smart heal" character of the talent, and acts like the heal from the item "Althor's Abacus"

Instead: The heal from ancestral awakening is being applied before the heal that caused it. The effect is that it almost always heals your current target (because they were lowest when you healed them). As a result, most of the original heal goes as overhealing and people that actually needed the heal get no heal. This is contraproductive and produces lot's of overheal, and the shaman is usually the healer with lowest overheal at all (chain heal -> smart heal, ancestral awakening -> LOTS OF smart heals)

I hope you can work with that information.
