Where is "Put this at the bottom of .tmux.conf: " file?
In Readme github manual is written but not said where is this file Put this at the bottom of .tmux.conf: https://github.com/tmux-plugins/tpm/blame/master/README.md#L19
@kangarooo The tmux.conf
file belongs in your home directory, i.e., the same one that contains your .tmux
directory.
@ngscheurich I have no such file. Only .tmux
dir in ~/ home dir
@iamtodor If you don’t have a .tmux.conf
file in your home directory, you should create it and use it to hold any tmux-related configuration.
@iamtodor You can also use the -f
option when you launch tmux to specify an alternate location for your config file. From the manual:
- f file: Specify an alternative configuration file. By default, tmux loads the system configuration file from /etc/tmux.conf, if present, then looks for a user configuration file at ~/.tmux.conf.
Hope that helps!
@ngscheurich yeah, thank you.
