Where is "Put this at the bottom of .tmux.conf: " file?

In Readme github manual is written but not said where is this file Put this at the bottom of .tmux.conf: https://github.com/tmux-plugins/tpm/blame/master/README.md#L19

@kangarooo The tmux.conf file belongs in your home directory, i.e., the same one that contains your .tmux directory.

@ngscheurich I have no such file. Only .tmux dir in ~/ home dir

@iamtodor If you don’t have a .tmux.conf file in your home directory, you should create it and use it to hold any tmux-related configuration.

@iamtodor You can also use the -f option when you launch tmux to specify an alternate location for your config file. From the manual:

- f file: Specify an alternative configuration file. By default, tmux loads the system configuration file from /etc/tmux.conf, if present, then looks for a user configuration file at ~/.tmux.conf.
