Change "c" new-window behaviour

Open romagnolid opened this issue 6 years ago • 2 comments

I often prefer the new window to be created after the current one. I suggest to change the default "c" behaviour to reflect this action and to add "C" to create a new window at the end of the list. It's easy to think of "c" as "light action" (create here) and "C" as "strong action" (create there, push the new window far).

Hi, I like the idea, but I'm not a fan of changing the default behavior of c. Also C is used by https://github.com/tmux-plugins/tmux-sessionist

Can you think of a new key binding for "create here"?

Hi @bruno- I restored the previous behaviour of c and set prefix+e' for the new behaviour. What do you think? I realized my previous idea (HorK`) must have sounded like a joke.
