Provided SRT file timings are not correct

The time code for block 8 is about 600~ms,

.srt time code 8 00:00:05,536 --> 00:00:06,178 acknowledges

But in davinci, after generated with a provided .srt, the time code for the same block becomes 2:00:06:11 --> 2:00:06:13

There is two mismatches, one being that the time starts 1 hour later, and the timing duration is pretty off.

do I have my .srt formatted incorrectly? any guidance, much appreciated.
