Infinite paralysis gas

So I had these two different paralysis vents in two different rooms and for some reason the gas kept propagating itself and would never disperse.

In my recording I found that it continued for tens of thousands of turns of paralysis gas that eventually enveloped the entire map.

Could you attach the recording? If not, do you remember if you could visibly see gas coming out of the vent, or if the existing gas spread infinitely?
