Friture crashes on exit when running in a Remote Desktop session

Every time I close Friture when it's running inside a Remote Desktop session it crashes with the following error in the log file:

  File "friture\audiobackend.py", line 451, in get_stream_time
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'time'

The remote OS is Windows 7 and RDP is configured to play audio on the remote computer. When I use Friture on the same machine locally it doesn't crash.
