Friture captures only first channel

Second channel is completely ignored for some reason. Both Linux (appimage) and Windows (under Wine) versions are affected.

Hello @axredneck ! By "ignored", do you mean it is silence (no signal at all), or identical to the signal of the left channel ?

@tlecomte i mean Friture draws graphs of first channel only.

Sorry for not coming back to this question earlier. When Friture is set with a "Two-channels input" in the Settings window, it does not show up in all widgets. It only shows in:

  • the peak and RMS meters on the left of the window
  • the scope widget

And in the FFT spectrum, a new option appears: "Dual-channel measurement type". This displays the spectrum of the difference between the 2 inputs.

In all other cases, it is not clear what would be the user expectations, so Friture continues to show the 1st channel only.

So it's not possible to display 2D spectrogram of sum (or mean) of two channels, right?

Dear @axredneck, that's correct, it's not possible to display 2D spectrogram of sum (or mean) of two channels
