Feature request: FP collection -> Fluor collection
I'd like to include dyes and other fluors in the FP collection but it seems as though only FPs can be added.
Also, dyes are not searchable.
yeah collections are just for FPs at this point.
It is not a true dye database at the moment. Dyes can only be viewed in the spectra-viewer, but do not have anywhere near the amount of information that FPs have. Since they don't have "pages" per se, there's nothing much to search besides their spectra. I would very much like to expand it have dedicated dye pages with specs, references, etc... and at that point I will definitely allow collections to contain dyes as well. Luke has expressed some amount of willingness to help me think my way through that. stay tuned...
Wanted to second the enhancements for Dyes. I haven't found a viewer that has any 2P cross sections for dyes (lmk if there is one someone knows about) but it seems like that feature would dovetail nicely with what is already here
