Same here, Ubuntu 20.04, package gnome-shell-extension-autohidetopbar (20200322-1), Firefox 80.0.1+build1-0ubuntu0.20.04.1. Weird slowness and tabs don't close until I click another tab. Disabling extension or de-maximizing window both avoid the issue.
