Feature request: click on note icon in gutter to open note

I find myself clicking the note icon to open the note file. It would be nice if this were a shortcut because "edit" is tucked away inside hover->wait->mouse-movement->click

Just discovered this is not yet possible in vscode (but the request for clicking on gutter icons has been in the queue for some time): https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/issues/5455
