Does this project needs maintainers?

There are some serious issues that will break this project very soon as RN versions go up.

Is someone on top of this? Or this project needs maintainers?

Hey @mi5ha, I don't use RN much these days so any help is greatly appreciated. What issues are on the horizon?

@tkporter I would be glad to help with some updates.

For example these look urgent:

  • Appears to be a git repo or submodule, I could not run until solved this locally
  • It get this warning: The following packages use deprecated "rnpm" config that will stop working from next release
  • It doesn't use new auto linking

@mi5ha Any help would be really appreciated-- I don't have much bandwidth at the moment for side projects. I'd really like to keep this project going, so let me know how I can help you ramp up!

@tkporter If it would help, I could invest some time in reviewing PR and merging them, and solving some issues, like existance of .git for example and submitting PRs. Tell me what would help?

@mi5ha That would be very useful. Those 3 you referenced seem the most urgent-- I think it'd also be worth some time for us to think about how we can change up the permission structure for Android. Feel free to email me directly at [email protected] as well
