Unable to share Visualization to MacOS user from Windows 11

Open ddetton opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

I imported the Obsidian public collection into a local collection on a Windows 11 machine. After making updates to the local collection, I tried to share it with a MacOS user running MacOS 10.15.7. The visualization did not appear for the MacOS user.

After updating Safari Preferences->Advanced->Show Develop Menu and setting Develop->User Agent in Safari to use a Google Chrome for Windows user agent, the visualization now appears for the MacOS user. It would be better for the app to be able to handle this without having to make the adjustment to the Safari User Agent.

Thanks for reporting this!

After importing from a public collection, the macOS user should at least see the macOS combinations visualized. Is this not the case for you? I see though how this can not be enough if you made changes to the collection that you want them to see.

They do see the macOS Key combos from the public collection. On Dec 29, 2021, 1:26 AM -0800, Thomas Kainrad @.***>, wrote:

Ok, thx. Just wanted to make sure there isn't also another issue that I am not aware of.
