UI Issues: blanking & no cut/paste (Ubuntu 14.04 x86_64)

Ubuntu 14.04 3.13.0-24-generic x86_64 Atom 0.94.0 (from https://launchpad.net/~webupd8team/+archive/atom)

Some minor issues I noticed:

• No copy/paste functionality within term tab.
  • "Crtl-V" is echoed literally
  • File > Paste produces nothing
  • No right-click context menu.
• Term tab goes blank when it loses focus to Atom's settings page (File > Settings).

While Ctrl-V may actually not be an issue, 'cause terminals typically paste via Shift-Insert, the latter doesn't work either.

Persists as of Atom 0.176.0, Term 0.2.2.

+1 still an issue
