Custom webhook as alternative to IFTTT?

IFTTT has now limited the free tier of its service to 3 applets. Each "Webhook" applet requires you to specify the event name, meaning that the free tier of IFTTT also limits this plugin to 3 events. Could you provide the option to put in a custom webhook url as an alternative to a IFTTT Maker Key? Then the plugin could call that instead of IFTTT and a user (granted: with some extra learning curve) could drastically customize their receiving webhook to do much more than just the 3 things they would be allowed to do with IFTTT
